[obf sez: some months ago a reader asked me : "Does Julian Assange really exist- or is his character just another deep state fabrication designed for certain objectives?". My answer at that time was to the effect of: "honestly, I don't know for sure - I cannot know for sure, but for the time being I'm going to tentatively assume that he is a real person, and that he is being being held in prison in the UK, and that he is being slowly tortured, interrogated, and starved to death."
