Scam Or Real? The Julian Assange Imprisonment/Torture Situation:

[obf sez: some months ago a reader asked me : "Does Julian Assange really exist- or is his character just another deep state fabrication designed for certain objectives?". My answer at that time was to the effect of: "honestly, I don't know for sure - I cannot know for sure, but for the time being I'm going to tentatively assume that he is a real person, and that he is being being held in prison in the UK, and that he is being slowly tortured, interrogated, and starved to death." Also , believing what I already think I know about the C.I.A. and associated, it seems to me that they are more than capable of torturing and killing those it deems a threat to the state via their exposure of the state's never-ending crimes against humanity . Nothings changed for me since that question was originally posed to me. My assumption might be wrong, he could be a complete fabrication, but as with many things, there is no real way to know for sure. For myself, the most important thing to do in the case of Assange is to remind myself of my initial assumption { that he's real and being tortured}, and that that assumption is only a "working" assumption which could be proven to be entirely wrong. That way I can stay humble about how much I think I "know" about Assange and related. In fact, I hope my assumption is wrong -it would mean one less person in this world being was being starved/tortured by the CIA, or whomever. ]
